I think we need to understand how the brian works and not just give the ten steps to effective speaking. The brain has 3 memory, sensory short and long term. The sensory memory has a time span of milliseconds and if the information is not captured here, the short temr memeory will not be activated. The main problem is how to push the information to the long term memeory so that long after the presentation, the participants can remember your speech.
