Caught on camera: School boys beat up classmate

PETALING JAYA - A video of several secondary school boys beating one of their schoolmates has gone viral on Facebook.

The one minute and 32-second long video, has also been shared on the official police Facebook page, with authorities urging the victim or his family to come forward.

The video starts with a group of students crowding around the camera, believed to be that of a mobile phone, in a classroom, smiling, shouting and posing for a picture.

However, about 10 seconds later, the camera suddenly focused on two male students talking in the background before the footage was abruptly cut.

One of the students was then seen to have changed into a grey T-shirt before kicking and punching another student, who still had his bag with him.

The student continued to punch and kick his helpless schoolmate for about 20 seconds before two others joined in. Other students were also heard in the background shouting: "Dahlah, dahlah (enough)".

The student wearing the grey T-shirt was also seen throwing a waste paper basket at his victim before another schoolmate stepped in to break up the fight.

Towards the end of the video, the student in the grey T-shirt was seen smiling directly into the camera.

The video has been shared more than 2,400 times since it was posted on the police Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/PolisDirajaMalaysia.

hahahaha...boys only? Even girls fighting are common nowadays. 2 against 1, or 5 against 1. You said it. It's common. So long as no one dies from a fight, just take it as part of growing up.:p
